Trolley wait falls by almost 20%: McLoughlin
The length of time patients had to wait for treatment on hospital trolleys fell by almost 20% in the first six months of the year.
That's according to the Secretary General at the Department of Health.
Speaking at the Health Care Informed conference in Dublin today, Dr Ambrose McLoughlin said there are some challenging issues when it comes to resources in the health service.
But he says some progress is being made, and a programme of reform is being rolled out.
