Kerry crash victim named

A man who died in a car crash in Rathmore, Co Kerry last night has been named as 22-year-old Don Murphy of Knocknaloman, Rathmore.

Mr Murphy died after losing control of the car he was driving at the entrance to Rathbeag at around 10pm last night.

The road was closed for a time today as the garda forensic team examined the scene, but it has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
