Varadkar: Govt may re-examine allowances
A Government minister has said allowances for public servants could be put back on the table, as part of a wider review of the Croke Park deal.
Leo Varadkar made the remarks after a number of Fine Gael TDs expressed their unhappiness that allowances had been left largely untouched, following a review by Minister Brendan Howlin.
Separately, Minister Varadkar also put further pressure on Health Minister James Reilly saying his decision to locate two primary care centres in his own constituency does look like "stroke politics".
