Kenny will discuss debt crisis with Monti

The Taoiseach is set to meet the Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti in Rome today.

The two leaders are expected to discuss the latest developments in the Eurozone debt crisis.

It is part of a two day trip for Enda Kenny. Tomorrow he will meet the Pope along with a number of other leaders.

It will mark the first meeting Mr Kenny's had with the Pontiff since a speech he made in the Dáil last year, which was highly critical of the Vatican.
