23 new jobs announced for car rental firm

A new German-owned car rental company is pledging to expand its workforce in Ireland in the coming years.

Dublin-based County Car Rentals has won the Sixt rent-a-car franchise, creating 23 new jobs in the process.

11 people have already been hired at the Sixt head office in Dun Laoghaire and at Dublin Airport, while 12 other posts will be filled over the next 8 months.

Bernard Loughran, Managing Director of Sixt Ireland has said the jobs will take the number of employees to 34 at the firm.
