The president of a secondary teachers union has launched a scathing attack on the government, accusing both coalition parties of breaking all election promises.

ASTI President Gerry Breslin says neither party would have been returned to power had they made clear their plans, including targeting children in terms of cuts to education, or new entrants to the public service.
