A 35-year-old man is due in court later in connection with the death of a man in Dublin at the weekend.

A 35-year-old man is due in court later in connection with the death of a man in Dublin at the weekend.

The body of 53-year-old Christopher Jackson was found at an apartment on Prussia Street in Stoneybatter on Saturday.

It is understood he had been stabbed to death and that his remains were hidden in a plastic bag in the flat for several days.

Yesterday, 39-year-old Bernard Locke - with an address at the same apartment block - appeared in court charged with murder.
