Man's body found in Co Laois

Gardaí in Portlaoise are investigating the discovery of a man's body.

The discovery was made at a house in Ballickmoyler, Co. Laois yesterday evening at around 8pm.

The 48-year-old man was discovered in the front room of the house.

The scene has been preserved and the State pathologist is due to carry out tests this morning.
