Mourners gather for Anthony Ward funeral

Hundreds of mourners have gathered in Charleville, Co Cork for the funeral of Anthony Ward.

The eight-year-old boy was found dead in his home in the town on Monday morning.

His mother Diane Ward has been charged with her son's murder.

Many of Anthony's school friends have gathered for the Mass of the Angels in Holy Cross church.

Anthony will be buried afterwards in Holy Cross cemetery.
