Man remanded in custody following fatal Dublin stabbing

A man has been remanded in custody in connection with the death of a father of one in Dublin.

Gerard Burnett died after being repeatedly stabbed outside a house at Castlecurragh Vale in Mulhuddart on Tuesday of last week.

Andrew Gibney of Drumheath Avenue, Mulhuddart was brought before Dublin District Court and charged with assault causing serious harm.
