Over 200.000 people lined the quayside in Dublin earlier today to bid farewell to the Tall Ships.

Over 200.000 people lined the quayside in Dublin earlier today to bid farewell to the Tall Ships.

The fleet flexed its maritime muscle for a parade of sails this afternoon, bringing an end to the lucrative four day festival.

The festivities have now ended and Gardai and event controllers are advising people not to travel towards the North and South Quays as all activities have closed.
