Child in critical condition, woman dies in Mullingar crash

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a two-car crash in Co. Westmeath which has left one woman dead and a child in a critical condition.

The collision occurred at around 6pm yesterday evening at Ballagh on the Delvin Road outside of Mullingar.
