Gardaí in Cork arrest man following slash hook attack

Gardaí in Cork have arrested a man following a slash hook attack on another man in Cork city yesterday.

The incident happened at around 6.50pm, when a 33 year old man was attacked as he sat in the front garden of his home at Cushing Place in Farranree.
