High Court declares Priory Hall developer bankrupt

Priory Hall developer Tom McFeely has been declared bankupt by the High Court.

Theresa McGuinness from Rush, Co Dublin, brought the petition against the 63-year-old over his former company Coalport's failure to pay a six-figure damages awarded over structural faults to a property.

Mr McFeely's UK bankruptcy was recently overturned when the British courts were informed bankruptcy proceedings were already underway in Ireland.

The High Court has ruled that the developer's business interests are centred in Ireland and not the UK.
