Fresh appeal for missing Kildare woman
Today marks the 14th anniversary of Deirdre Jacob's disappearance in Co. Kildare.
The trainee teacher was just 18 when she went missing from outside her parents' home in Roseberry, Newbridge.
There have been no confirmed sightings of the 5ft2" brunette since she was last seen, in 1998.
Garda John Joe O'Connell told KFM radio that Gardaí are still actively investigating the case, and anyone with even the smallest piece of information should come forward.
"Many people have forward over the years with possible sightings and information in relation to Deirdre Jacob.
"We still have an open file on this matter and would like to take this opportunity to put out a fresh appeal, maybe your memories might be jogged."
