Bomb Disposal Team make chemicals safe in Cork
The Army Bomb Disposal Team has made safe a quantity of unstable chemicals in Cork City.
The discovery of Dinitrophenylhydrazine was made at around 7.50pm last night at St Finbarrs Seminary, in Farranferris, on the northside of the city.
The chemical was found in a disused school laboratory during renovations.
It was removed to waste ground where it was made safe through the use of a controlled explosion.
