Domestic airlines say they cannot recover unfair tax from customers

Domestic airlines have said that they will not be able to recover money from their customers, following a ruling that the government's two-tier travel tax was against competition rules.

The European Commission said that the lower €2 tax - in place for shorter air travel between 2009 and March of this year - was unfair.
