Police in the North are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl.

Police in the North are investigating a serious sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl.

The attack took place in the early hours of this morning on Victoria Avenue in Newtownards in Co. Down.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested.
