Labour Party Chief Whip Emmet Stagg believes that James Reilly knew for five days that the Chief Executive of the HSE planned to resign, but told neither the Taoiseach nor Tánaiste.

Cathal Magee announced his intention to step down in year two of a five year contract yesterday, because of changes Minister Reilly is to make to the structure of the Health Service.
