A man is in hospital after being stabbed in County Clare last night.

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in County Clare last night.

The victim was wounded in an incident in the John Paul estate in Kilrush shortly before 10pm.

He was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be serious but not life threatening.
