Family to bury James Nolan today
Friends and family will gather in County Wicklow later for the funeral of James Nolan.
The 21-year-old student drowned in a river in Poland after traveling with friends to support Ireland at the European Championships.
A massive search operation was launched in Poland after James Nolan disappeared following a night out with friends in the town of Bydgosczc on Saturday, June 16.
He had traveled to Poland with a group of friends in a camper van for the European Championships.
After four days his body was found in a river, it is believed he fell in and drowned after walking down to a poorly lit area by the water.
Thousands of mourners gathered for the student's removal at the Church of Our Lady in Blessington yesterday evening.
James will be laid to rest in Burgage Cemetery, following requiem mass at 11am this morning.
