Road reopens following fatal Mayo crash

The Newport to Castlebar road in Co Mayo has reopened following a single-car crash in which a 21-year-old man was killed.

A woman was also injured in the accident when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a ditch about three miles from Newport, at around 3.15am this morning.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Castlebar.
