Motorcyclist dies in Cavan road accident

A motorcyclist in his late 20s has been killed in a crash in Co Cavan.

It happened at Drumgart, Belturbet shortly before 11.30am this morning. The motorcycle he was driving and a dumper truck were in collision.

The road remains closed for forensic examination and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
