Gardaí renew appeal over killing of Kilkenny mother

Gardaí in Co. Kilkenny are renewing their appeal for information in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Siobhán Stapleton.

The 51-year-old died on her way to hospital as a result of injuries sustained at her home in Kilfane on May 25.

Ms. Stapleton's 31-year-old son appeared at Kilkenny District court last Thursday charged with assault causing serious harm to his mother.

Gardaí want to speak to anyone who travelled on the road between Thomastown and Gowran on Friday May 25, 2012, between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
