NUI Galway announces recipients of honorary degrees

NUI Galway has today announced the recipients of its honorary degrees for 2012.

Author Sebastian Barry leads the pack, which also includes New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, Coca Cola's Irial Finan, and the Canadian Finance Minister, The Honourable James Flaherty PC, MP.

The four individuals will be conferred on Friday, June 29.

NUIG says each of the four has made outstanding and distinctive contributions to their fields.
