Kenny to meet eurozone leaders today

Growth in the eurozone will be top of the agenda when the Taoiseach travels to Brussels later today for an informal meeting of the European Council.

Growth in the eurozone will be top of the agenda when the Taoiseach travels to Brussels later today for an informal meeting of the European Council.

The talks will involve European heads of State, the Council President Herman Van Rompuy, and European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barrosso.

Today's meeting is being held in advance of a crucial EU summit at the end of June.

Ahead of the the talks, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said he would actively contribute to the debate on growth and job creation within the monetary union.
