A 29-year-old garda who was injured in a shooting incident in Tralee in Co Kerry, has died at Kerry General Hospital.

A 29-year-old garda who was injured in a shooting incident in Tralee in Co Kerry, has died at Kerry General Hospital.

Garda Adrian Hickey from Blarney in Co Cork died after he suffered a gunshot wound to the head from his official issue garda handgun.
