Woman dies after Louth crash
A woman has died in hospital after a crash in Co Louth.
The 23-year-old was seriously injured in a collision between two cars at Glenmore, Riverstown, in Dundalk at 9.50am yesterday morning.
She was airlifted by coastguard helicopter to Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry, Co Down, but died yesterday evening.
The woman had been driving one of the cars involved in the collision. A passenger in her car and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, with minor injuries.
