Police in the North are continuing to question a 26-year-old man today in connection with a fatal shooting in Derry.

Lauren O'Neill, 18, was shot dead and her 21-year-old sister, Brenda, was left critically injured in the attack which took place in the village of Bellaghy.

It is understood that Lauren was killed as she tried to protect her sister, in an incident which has been described as a domestic feud.
