Mortgage lending volumes down in Q1

A total of €2,630 new mortgages were issued between January and March, according to new figures from PriceWaterhouseCooper.

The report puts the value of the loans at €450m.

The volume of new lending was 19.3% lower in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
