Abbeville - the home of the late Charles Haughey - has just gone on the market and is being sold by private treaty.

Abbeville - the home of the late Charles Haughey - has just gone on the market and is being sold by private treaty.

The 14 bedroom mansion dates from the mid 1700s and was designed by noted architect James Gandon.

Pat O'Hagan from selling agent Savills says it's going for a song:

"... I think its certainly multiples of what we're looking for now, I think it is a good bargain at seven and a half million, find me another one like it".
