Hearing aid retailer to create 15 jobs

Hearing aid retailer Bonavox has today announced that it is to employ 15 more people over the next 12 months.

This expansion plan will facilitate the opening of two new locations in Dublin and see Bonavox employee numbers increase to 26.

For over 45 years, Bonavox has provided Audiological services to its clients from its North Earl Street base.

The hearing specialist company provides advice and treatment for hearing loss, tinnitus, earwax removal, ear-moulds fittings, and rapid hearing aid repairs.

"Our recruitment drive and subsequent training programme represents a significant investment by Bonavox in the Irish marketplace," said Mark Campbell, business development director of Bonavox.

"Since February of this year, we have employed an additional seven audiologists and are looking for a further five as part of our expansion drive.

"The roles that are on offer require applicants to have the right mix of communication, commercial and technical skills to ensure they are the right addition and a suitable fit for the service that Bonavox is renowned for.

"The available positions give applicants the opportunity for a complete career change supported by a specialised training programme.

"This training programme will include a ten-week induction-training programme, with the opportunity to progress to a foundation degree level in Audiology through the Open University."
