35 new jobs and €500,000 Euromillions win for Kildare

Thirty-five new jobs have been announced for Co Kildare, and for one individual, the county has also proved the location for a lucky Euromillions win.

Software firm, Sentenial, is generating the 35 new posts at its European headquarters in Maynooth.

The jobs are being created to meet European demands for the company's SEPA payment solutions.

Meanwhile, John O'Sullivan's Spar in Newbridge is celebrating selling a Euromillions Plus ticket on

Monday, which is worth €500,000 after yesterday's draw.

The lucky ticket holder has yet to come forward.
