Pharmaceutical firm announces 100 jobs for Dublin

The pharmaceutical giant AMGEN has today announced the creation of new positions as part of a €150m expansion of the former Pfizer facility in Dun Laoghaire.

The company said that the education system and science professionals were a big factor in making the decision to make this investment in Ireland.

Vice president of quality at Amgen, Martin VanTrieste said that this will make Ireland a major location for the company.
