Three Waterford men arrested last September after a garda investigation in to the activities of dissident republicans are due to stand trial separately at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin next spring.

Brian O’Sullivan (aged 31) of Moonlaun, Tramore, and Joseph Mooney (aged 43), of Cullinagh, Kilmeadan, are each charged with membership of an illegal organisation styling itself the Irish Republican Army, otherwise Oglaigh na hÉireann, otherwise the IRA, on September 22 last year.
