'Jesus Christ, I get angry': Parents protest at cuts to special-needs payments

More than 100 parents with special needs children are protesting outside Leinster House this lunchtime against cuts to the domiciliary care allowance.

Parents say the monthly allowance of €309.50 is vital in helping to give their children a better quality of life.
