Gardaí arrest man in Allen murder case

Gardaí investigating the murder of Andrew Allen in Co Donegal last February have arrested a man in his 30s.

He was detained in Co Donegal this morning and is being held at Buncrana Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Andrew Allen was shot dead at his home in Links View Park, Buncrana on February 9 last.

He was gunned down through a window after a group of men tried to break down the front door.
