National home-care scheme for sick children 'would save State €42m'
Setting up a national paediatric home-care scheme for sick children in Ireland would save the State €42m a year, home-care support group the Jack and Jill Foundation has said.
Members of the organisation, along with the Irish Hospice Foundation, will meet a group of politicians in Leinster House this afternoon to argue for establishing a home-care budget for terminally ill children.
