Man dies in fatal Galway road accident

Gardaí are today appealing for witnesses to a single-vehicle crash in Galway, in which a 39-year-old man died.

He was driving a car on the Gort to Lough Rea road, when he struck a sign post at Gortaloman just before 1am.
