Three quarters of drivers who have had their car clamped in the past year feel it happened in "unfair circumstances", according to an AA Motor Insurance survey of 2,000 drivers.

Three quarters of drivers who have had their car clamped in the past year feel it happened in "unfair circumstances", according to an AA Motor Insurance survey of 2,000 drivers.

Among the most common complaints cited were "obscured or unclear parking signage" and parking discs having expired by only a few minutes before a clamp was fitted to the vehicle.
