Bruton: Govt proceeding with strategy to tackle mortgages crisis

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton has rejected the IMF's proposals for a 'bold' mortgage write-down, saying the Government is already working on an insolvency scheme.

In a report published last night the IMF argued that a bold write-down would boost growth.
