Man charged with murder of Romanian teen

A man in his early 30s has been charged with the murder of a Romanian teenager who went missing in Dublin four years ago.

Alan Wilson, from New Street Gardens in Dublin 8, appeared before a special sitting of the Bridewell District Court in Dublin last night charged with murdering Marioara Rostas.

The body of the 18-year-old was found in January in the Wicklow Mountains.

The murder is alleged to have taken place at a house on Brabazon Street in Dublin in January 2008.
