Report: Political donations total almost €400k in 2011

TDs, Senators and MEPs disclosed political donations of just under €400,000 last year.

The Standards in Public Office Commission has said 334 members or former members were required to furnish donation statements for 2011, amounting to a combined total of €378,920.

Only donations above €634.87c need to be disclosed.

Former Senator Eoghan Harris failed to supply a donation statement, but has now undertaken to furnish the outstanding statement.
