Student representatives will be balloted today on whether the Union of Students in Ireland should continue with its policy of campaigning for free third-level fees, or change its stance.

The union's annual congress takes place in Galway over the next four days - where more than 300 motions will also be voted on - including issues such as bond holders, alcohol pricing and the Croke Park Agreement.
