Official figures show more than 770k register for Household Charge

The latest figures on the Household Charge show that 770,980 people have registered to pay the €100 fee.

This evening's figures also include new rough tallies from local authorities of nearly 70,000 registrations on hand in offices around the country, as well as almost 90,000 payments awaiting processing at the main bureau.
