Wallace: Shatter jibe was 'cheap shot'

Independent TD Mick Wallace has said comments aimed at him from Justice Minister Alan Shatter were “a cheap shot”.

Speaking as he entered the Fine Gael Ard Fheis last night Minister Shatter sparked controversy by saying that Sinn Féin and Independent TDs - including Deputy Wallace - who are opposing the household charge should "just get a life".
