FF to review organisation in Dublin Central

Fianna Fáil is to carry out a root and branch review of the organisation in Dublin Central following the publication of the Mahon report.

The move follows a special meeting of the party's Árd Chomhairle in Dublin tonight.

Fianna Fáil's Whip Seán Ó Fearghaíl said that many members felt "very angry and let down" after what had been a "very difficult week" for the party.

However he said that there was a strong sense that the party's leadership had firmly rejected these practices and could begin the process of rebuilding trust in politics.
