More than a million still to register for Household Charge

There are just days to go until the deadline to sign up for the Household Charge and according to figures compiled by the Irish Independent, more than 1.2 million people have still to register.

That breaks down to an average of nearly 9,000d an hour, by close of business next Saturday.
