A Co. Wicklow farmer accused of murdering his older bother told a garda he shot him in a “row” over where their mother was to be buried, a court has heard.

Cecil Tomkins, 63, of New Lodge Nursing Home, Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham in Dublin has pleaded not guilty to murdering Walter Tomkins (aged 66) at Cronlea, Shillelagh on July 1, 2010.
