An Taisce welcomes Slane bypass decision
An Taisce, the National Trust for Ireland, has today welcomed An Bord Pleanála's refusal of plans for a controversial bypass around Slane village.
An Bord Pleanála ruled that the proposed bridge and road in the Boyne Valley, Co Meath, was too close to Bru na Boinne and made the ruling in order to protect a World Heritage Site.
